Tom Destry, hijo de un legendario pacificador de la frontera, es un joven pacífico que rechaza todo tipo de violencia, por lo que es objeto de toda clase de burlas cuando recorre a caballo la ciudad de Bottleneck, el feudo personal de Kent.
